Admissions Requirements

SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION TO THE PTCAS

The minimum total score accepted is 79 on the Internet-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 550 for the paper-based test. Curriculum

The Doctor of Physical Therapy curricular coursework includes:

Resource and Facilities

Education Laboratory

Teaching labs with treatment tables and audio-visual equipment.  Students work together in groups to apply and practice examination, intervention, and other hands-on clinical skills with each other.

Physical Therapy Research Lab

The Concrete Therapy Enquiry Lab is a 1,200 square-foot facility located on the second floor of the Zeckendorf Health Sciences Center. Information technology is used for research projects in the areas of:

  • Clinical assessment of gait and other functional activities
  • Reliability and validity of clinical instruments
  • Health promotion and wellness
  • Alternative therapies
  • Motor control
Anatomy Laboratory

The human anatomy cadaver lab is located on the lower level of the pharmacy building. The facility is used primarily for the dissection of human being cadavers. The doc banana, physical therapy and occupational therapy students apply the laboratory to principal the written report of human anatomy. The laboratory is equipped with models and books to heighten student learning.
